The Mini Blueprint
Ready to finally get unstuck and move your book from idea to action?
The Mini Blueprint Strategy session is a thoughtful reality check for your nonfiction book idea designed to help you see what’s working, what needs attention, and how to confidently bring your vision to life.
Nonfiction Mini Blueprint
Strategy Session
1. Big-Picture Project Analysis
Most writers skip this step and end up stuck later—the Mini Blueprint helps you find your focus before you waste time writing in circles.
You’ll fill out a short questionnaire that brings your “why” to the surface, connects your idea to your reader, and uncovers the heart of your book. Then, I’ll review it and share insights on your project’s potential—what’s working, what needs fine-tuning, and where to go next.
It’s simple. It’s powerful. And it might be the missing clarity you’ve been looking for.
2. An Editorial Review
You’ll also get a professional review of your first 3,000 words.
I’ll give you an honest, encouraging assessment of your strengths, your opportunities for improvement, and practical next steps to elevate your writing.
No vague feedback, no overwhelm—just clear guidance that shows you what to focus on next to make real progress.
3. An In-Depth Conversation
Once you’ve completed your Mini Blueprint, we’ll hop on a 50-minute call (or Voxer chat, if you prefer) to unpack everything together.
We’ll talk through your goals, explore what’s working and what’s not, and map out a plan to keep your book moving forward.
You’ll walk away with clarity, direction, and a renewed sense of excitement for your book.
What to Expect
1. Receive Mini Blueprint
After payment, I’ll email the Mini Blueprint to you within 24 hours.
2. Submit Your Package
When you are done, upload your Mini Blueprint and the 3,000 words you’d like me to look over to your personal OneDrive folder. You have six months to submit these for review.
3. Personalized Review
I’ll carefully review your submission, providing detailed, actionable feedback tailored to your book. This usually takes two to three weeks after I receive them to ensure each client receives thoughtful, high-quality guidance.
4. Connect Your Way
Once your review is complete, we’ll connect in the way that works best for you: a live video call or a Voxer voice chat. During this session, we’ll discuss your feedback, clarify any questions, and map out your next steps.
5. Flexible Follow-Up
You can follow up for up to one week after our chat with any additional questions via Voxer or email, so you have support as you implement your next steps.
Bottom Line
You’ll leave this session with insight, focus, and confidence—the three things every writer needs most to finish their book.
And that clarity? It’s the best gift you can give yourself.
FAQ
You’re not the only one with questions—writing a book is a big deal! Here are a few of the most common things people ask before jumping into the Mini Blueprint. My goal is to make this process feel simple, supportive, and totally doable (because it is).
What exactly is the Mini Blueprint?
Think of it as a professional gut-check for your book idea. You’ll get my eyes on your concept, a quick but powerful exercise to clarify your message, and a focused strategy session so you can finally see where your book fits and how to move forward.
Who is this for?
This is for entrepreneurs, coaches, and service-based professionals who know they have a book inside them but need help turning that idea into something clear, strategic, and market-ready. If you want your book to work for your business, this is your next step.
Do I need a finished draft to sign up?
Nope! Whether you’re sitting on a half-written manuscript or just a jumble of notes in your phone, the Mini Blueprint meets you right where you are. You’ll get clarity on what’s working and what’s next.
What will you review before our call?
You’ll fill out your Mini Blueprint (a guided one-pager that helps you think big picture) and send up to 3,000 words of your writing—whatever best represents your book idea. I’ll review both before we talk.
What happens during the session?
We’ll chat for about 50 minutes. This is a relaxed but focused conversation where we’ll unpack your ideas, talk through my feedback, and leave you with a plan that feels realistic and exciting.
What if I’m not ready for full book coaching?
That’s exactly what this is for! The Mini Blueprint gives you clarity and direction without a big commitment. You’ll get to experience what it’s like to have a book coach in your corner before investing in a full package.
How quickly will I get feedback?
I review each package in the order received to give every client personalized attention. You’ll get feedback within about 2–3 weeks of submission. Once your review is ready, we’ll connect in whichever way works best for you—a live video call or a Voxer chat—so you can get clarity, next steps, and answers to all your questions.
Can I gift this to someone else?
Absolutely. This makes a meaningful and motivating gift for that friend who keeps saying, “One day I’ll write my book.”
Do I have to book my session right away?
You’ll have up to 6 months (June 1, 2026) to schedule your session. I want you to feel ready but not let it collect digital dust.
What if I’ve written more than 3,000 words?
That’s a great problem to have! You can choose which section you’d like me to review, or we can talk about adding extra pages if you want deeper feedback.
Why Writers Love This Session
If you’ve never worked with a book coach before, this is a great way to experience what it’s like to have a trained professional look closely at your work and talk strategy with you in real time.
Writing friends are wonderful and AI has its place—but there’s nothing quite like a real conversation with someone who understands both craft and strategy.
And if you have worked with a coach before, this is a low-pressure way to get a fresh perspective, test a new idea, or regain momentum on a project that’s been sitting too long.
Still on the fence? I get it—investing in your book (and yourself) can feel big. But this one session can give you the kind of clarity and confidence that saves months of second-guessing later. If you’re ready to see what your book could become, I’d love to help you take that next step.
